When I got home from work the other night, my wife told me that she really wanted to talk to me about something. When I asked her what it was, she told me that she had been going over our finances for the month, and she was feeling like we needed to get out a few loans to try and cover the new car that we wanted to get. I told her that I was hoping that we could dip into our savings to take care of it, but she didn’t want to hear about it. We were keeping our savings for our children’s education.
