I live in an area that is sometimes windy, but nearly always sunny, so when it came to making a decision about what kind of renewable energy system I would use, I had to go with solar power. I then discovered a way to have both by doing it myself. I always have full power for my home and I use very little electricity from the electric company. I am now more independent of the electrical grid and I am conserving energy while saving my bank account. It really feels good to be free from the grid and to be saving my hard earned money for more important and fun things.
