After I was laid off from my job last fall, I decided to start my own business as a consultant. I tried to get some of my friends and family to back me financially, but nobody wanted to assume that kind of risk. I started looking online for ways to get some money, and I went to a site that would give me a $5000 loan. I applied and received my approval shortly after, and I started my business. I am doing better than I ever expected, and now I have people wanting to back me nearly every day! It is great to be my own boss.
